Authentidate, Inc., a subsidiary of Authentidate Holding Corporation (Nasdaq: ADAT) and a leading provider of Trusted Content Authentication Services, today announced it is integrating its service into the Lotus Notes products and showcasing it at the Lotusphere 2002 event to be held in Orlando January 27-31 2002.
"By integrating our service into the Lotus product suite, thousands of Lotus developers and millions of Lotus customers will now have access to another level of security and authenticity for their document management, workflow and messaging systems. The Lotusphere event is the perfect setting to showcase how the authentication of electronic documents adds value and non-repudiation. There are four areas we are focusing on with our Authentidate service those being, Lotus Notes e-mail, Lotus Domino application server, Domino.doc Document Management and Lotus Workflow," stated Richard Reichgut, VP Marketing.
The Authentidate solution eliminates the possibility of the alteration of any electronic file without detection enabling users to authenticate a file's originality with true evidentiary status, insured to protect all parties. "AuthentiDating" electronic files provide constituents with a time and date stamped record that is auditable to N.I.S.T, the official US source of time. At any time in the future they are able to check a document, spreadsheet, e-mail, digital image and digital recording against the stored Authentidate code, to prove its originality.
