Trac Medical Solutions Signs Agreement With Air Products Healthcare To Implement CareCert™ Solution

Trac Medical Solutions, Inc. (TracMed), a subsidiary of Authentidate Holding Corp. (Nasdaq: ADAT), announced today that it has signed an agreement with Air Products Healthcare, a subsidiary of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE: APD), engaged in the homecare industry, to enable Air Products Healthcare to electronically complete Certificates of Medical Necessity (CMN's) and Written Orders using the TracMed CareCert™ Solution.
Initially, Air Products will implement the CareCert Solution to 24 locations in Illinois, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania and has pre-purchased 50,000 eCMN transactions for utilization with the CareCert Solution.
At a conference in May 2004, Robert Cucuel, Chief Executive Officer of Air Products Healthcare stated that the Company had grown to become one of the top five homecare providers in the United States. Air Products first entered the U.S. homecare market in October 2002 with the purchase of American Homecare Supply, LLC and since then, has acquired an additional ten home respiratory companies, all operating under the Air Products Healthcare banner.
