TracMed Announces Contracts With Eight Medical Equipment Providers; Company Now Has Agreements to Service 814 Locations

Trac Medical (TracMed) Solutions, Inc., a subsidiary of Authentidate Holding Corp. (Nasdaq: ADAT), announced today that it has recently signed contracts with eight additional Durable Medical Equipment (DME) providers to use the Company's CareCert(TM) Solution for processing electronic Certificates of Medical Necessity (eCMN(TM)) and Written Orders.
The companies contracting with TracMed are: Health e-Quip of Hutchinson, KS; Home Care Concepts of Farmingdale, NY; Home Therapy of Clifton Park, NY; Hutchinson Medical Supply of Salem, MA; Knoll Patient Services of Topeka, KS; National Home Health Care, Inc. of Amarillo, TX; Roberts Home Medical of Germantown, MD; and Young Medical of Toledo, OH. In total, the eight companies have nineteen locations. TracMed estimates that combined the companies process approximately 40,000 to 50,000 CMN's and Written Orders each year.
TracMed now has contracts for its CareCert solution with twenty-two companies with 814 locations. TracMed will generate revenues on a per location as well as a per transaction basis.
All of the companies are members of the American Association for Homecare (AAH). Earlier this year, TracMed announced an agreement with an affiliate of AAH for an open industry solution that will deliver a unified platform for the processing of e-CMNs and other electronic health care forms.
