StreamServe Secures Savings for Customers by Signing a Reseller Agreement for Authentidate's Electronic Signature Solution

StreamServe EU-InvoicingTM Customers to Migrate from Paper to E-invoicing that Complies with European Union Directives for Digital Signatures

BURLINGTON, MA and BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ, USA
March 6, 2007

StreamServe® Inc., the global leader in Enterprise Document Presentment (EDP), today announced a reseller agreement with Authentidate International AG, a wholly owned subsidiary of worldwide secure enterprise workflow management application provider Authentidate Holding Corp. (Nasdaq: ADAT), to market its EU-InvoicingTM solution with Authentidate's eBilling Signature Solutions and Services.

The new layer of Authentidate technology in StreamServe's EU-Invoicing solution will eliminate the requirement for organizations to monitor highly variable electronic signature and archive compliance laws for individual EU member states. Without this capability, the savings benefits of e-invoices could be mitigated by unrealized non-compliance, resulting in loss of their buyer's right to reclaim Value Added Tax (VAT) as well as exposure to administrative fines.

"Forrester Research projects that e-invoicing reduces operational costs by up to 80 percent (€5 to €1)," said Chris Stone, president and CEO of StreamServe. "It is because of this cost savings that projections have indicated more than 200,000 companies will become customers of e-invoicing applications and services in 2007, presenting a significant opportunity for StreamServe and Authentidate."

Authentidate International AG is accredited by the German Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) in accordance with the German Digital Signature Act and related European directives.  Authentidate Deutschland GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Authentidate International AG, provides signature-based business process solutions that are easy-to-integrate, provide high economic efficiency, are platform-independent and comply with the legal regulations of the respective business process for which the solution is designed.

Joint StreamServe and Authentidate customers can not only easily switch from paper-based invoices to electronic channels, but StreamServe's unique marketing capabilities allow customers to maximize e-invoicing savings by consistently and appropriately promoting the benefits of e-invoicing on paper invoices to their end customers, resulting in substantially greater adoption rates and associated savings. Organizations can freely choose the formats in which they would like to sign and send invoices (e.g. such as PDF, TIFF, IDoc, ASCII, XML, etc.), leveraging the same business process used for paper invoices.

"Our synergistic partnership with StreamServe will allow businesses to reduce costs related to print production and postal expense by delivering e-invoices with the appropriate digital signature for the recipient," said Jan C. E. Wendenburg, CEO of Authentidate International AG.
