Authentidate Announces eOrder Module For InscrybeTM Healthcare - American Homepatient First Customer To Use New Service Offering

Authentidate Expands its Presence in the Homecare Industry

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, N.J.
April 23, 2007

Authentidate Holding Corp. (Nasdaq: ADAT), a worldwide provider of secure enterprise workflow management applications, today announced the addition of the eOrder application to its current suite of modules available on the Inscrybe Healthcare platform. The introduction of the eOrder module and its adoption by American HomePatient reinforces Authentidate's vision for Inscrybe, of a highly scalable suite of integrated capabilities facilitating trusted transactions for the healthcare industry.

The Inscrybe eOrder module offers a robust array of benefits for homecare providers, including the ability to better service the referring physicians. With eOrder, physician offices can place orders with homecare providers and complete associated paperwork simply and securely using a web-based online order catalog. Physician offices that choose to place orders via phone or fax can receive order acknowledgments from the homecare provider either online or by fax according to their preference.

For the provider - whether an order is placed online, by fax or over the phone - Inscrybe's state-of-the-art workflow automation technology streamlines the entire order handling process to allow for centralized management on a single dashboard. This allows a provider to better respond to the needs of a referred patient at lower operating costs, by eliminating processing errors and inefficiencies related to paper-based processes. In addition, by integrating seamlessly with other Inscrybe modules providers can further reduce the total cycle time from order to reimbursement while enhancing compliance with regulatory procedures.

Doug Gouy, Senior Vice President of Revenue Management at American HomePatient stated, "We are delighted that Authentidate is bringing this important and much needed application to our market. Many of our major physician offices have been requesting an easier, faster, and more secure way to process medical orders. We believe the eOrder module will resolve a major front-office challenge for homecare companies. In addition, the eOrder module is fully integrated on the Inscrybe Platform, which has already helped our Company to reduce costs and improve productivity, and has allowed us to serve our customers better."

"We are very pleased with the success American HomePatient has experienced using Inscrybe eCMN, and look forward to expanding our relationship with them as they adopt our new eOrder module," stated Suren Pai, President and Chief Executive Officer of Authentidate. "We are delighted when our customers come back to us to help address an important business challenge. It validates the value of our applications to our customers, and helps us stay on the leading edge of market-driven innovation." He added, "We remain committed to positively impact our customers' bottom line, and to continue to bring to market innovative and practical solutions that help address their business needs."
