Inscrybe Healthcare Market Penetration Accelerating in Homecare Industry
BERKELEY HEIGHTS, N.J.
June 11, 2007
Authentidate Holding Corp. (Nasdaq: ADAT), a worldwide provider of software and web-based software services that enable enterprises and individuals to exchange information securely and conduct trusted business transactions, today announced that Pacific Pulmonary Services (PPS), the largest privately held provider of home oxygen and respiratory medications in the United States, has initiated the implementation of Authentidate's Inscrybe Healthcare platform in its more than 100 Patient Care Centers in 14 states.
PPS will utilize Inscrybe Healthcare to digitally generate, track and manage documentation between its different facilities, billing center and physician offices faster than ever before. Under the agreement, PPS will use Inscrybe Healthcare's electronic Certificate of Medical Necessity (eCMN) module to complete and efficiently process written orders whether a physician's office chooses to submit their forms over the web or via fax. The eCMN module will enable PPS to easily enhance the efficiency of their back office operations, significantly reduce document processing-time and lower their unbilled dollars. Authentidate's platform also provides a unified information management and reporting interface.
As a web-based system, Inscrybe Healthcare is accessible on a secure web-based platform, offering a seamless implementation that does not require the purchase of new software or hardware.
Jim Doty, Vice President, Marketing and Information Technology at Pacific Pulmonary Services, stated, "We operate a large network of centers over a broad area, so we really needed a solution that was capable of addressing our business needs without requiring a tremendous amount of time, training and expense on our part." Doty continued, "Authentidate's Inscrybe Healthcare platform was the clear answer for us. This platform will help us to better serve our customers by maximizing our productivity and will effectively cut costs by improving coordination between our individual Patient Care Centers, as well as between these centers and our valued customers."
Paul Skinner, Vice President, Sales at Authentidate stated, "We are delighted that PPS has chosen our Inscrybe Healthcare platform and believe that the eCMN module will be a perfect fit for their operations. By utilizing Inscrybe Healthcare, PPS can move forward with a state-of-the-art web-based system that can be easily extended by adding other Inscrybe modules as their needs grow over time. We are confident that PPS will be pleased with this platform and with the extraordinary support system that we have in place for all of our customers."
