SDK Kit Contents

Authentidate Software Development Kits (SDK) enable software developers to access the Authentidate USPS® EPM® web service and the USPS® Electronic Postmark® (USPS® EPM®) seal for software applications or web services. By linking your electronic file's calculated hash code to a USPS EPM transaction I.D. code stored in the Authentidate USPS EPM web service data center along with the USPS as a backup verifier provides truly long-term trusted third-party evidence of content authenticity with a certified timestamp at the time that the USPS EPM was stored.

Both Software Developer Kits include:
Functions to enable: obtain USPS EPMs, verify USPS EPMs locally and remotely on the Authentidate USPS EPM web service data center, and obtain verification receipts including the USPS EPM transaction I.D. code.

Sample applications provide guidance to enable easy integration of the USPS EPM service into any of your existing applications.

User guides illustrate the use of objects in the Authentidate SDK and provide instructions about the use of code samples.

Secure SSL communication is provided with the Authentidate EPM server to secure all transactions.

Telephone and email support regarding developer's use of the SDK and application testing.

Component Object Module Software Developer Kit (COM SDK)
Enables Windows applications to use the Authentidate USPS EPM web service.

Organized as a COM library that can be used from any language or development tool that supports COM, such as Microsoft C++, Visual Basic, ASP, C#, etc.

Shipped with extensive code samples (including C++, MFC, C#, Visual Basic, .NET or ASP.NET) both GUI and command-line.

Java Software Developer Kit (Java SDK)
Enables Java applications to use the Authentidate USPS EPM web service.

Organized as a Java library that can be used from any language or development tool that supports Java or J2EE applications.

The Java SDK is packaged as a jar file and shipped with extensive code samples.
